Job Summary
The Sign Maker and Production position is a professional, self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence. This person also needs to be detail-oriented, will work well in a fast-paced team environment, and is able to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities
- Sign maker and production
- Work with different types of vinyl, substrates, acrylics, etc.
- Full-time availability (40 hours/week)
- Run the Laser to produce dimensional products
- Run a large format printer, laminator and plotter
- Consult/interface with customers as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
- Assist in maintaining company signage equipment
- Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs
- Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a professional sign maker with production skills
- Background in vinyl creation and application
- Large format digital printing
- Design creativity a plus
- Expertise in using Adobe and Corel Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Experience with RIP software
- Vehicle wrap installation
- Knowledgeable in color management
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
